chocolate chip cookie! yum..

Pretty please!
Nibbling nicely.. dude.. this is sooo good!
More advanced strategy.
His mouth crammed full of the last cookie; he felt it necessary to garble "more?" around the messy goodness.

cheerio war

Emanuel and I share a bowl of cheerios every morning. I man the bowl and spoon, he works the hinges on his mouth. I think we should switch jobs, because he doesn't seem that impressed with the way I control the cheerios. I let the soggy sticky O stick to the side of the bowl. I know. How did I pass the motherhood test with this kind of bad habit. In my defense, I never even thought about it, and yes, it is the inside of the bowl. He firmly believes that all cheerios should be constantly floating in the milk. Or in his mouth. Getting chewed and swallowed. But the evil cheerios sneak up and stick to the side of bowl. Trying vainly to escape death by drowning or chewing to hide under the table where they will be able to petrify before they to face death by vacuum cleaner in a week or so. Emanuel is vigilant though. When he sees a wayward O creeping up the side he slips he pudgy fingers down to grab it for his own mouth, if it isn't currently full, or push the poor O back to it's rightful place in the milk. Just one of the little things I love about this boy.
